Before the bell rings on the end of 2025 and launches us into a gorgeous new year, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who took the time to vote for me in the Image Awards.
The Image Awards truly are the elite of the Irish beauty industry. To even be nominated is an incredible nod to the work you’ve done, but to come away with the title is nothing short of phenomenal.
I’ve been a makeup artist for 20 years, specialising in bridal for nearly 18 of those. To be recognised in the Creative Bridal Makeup category is something I have always strived for. But this achievement was never mine alone.
I couldn’t have done it without the unwavering support of my amazing clients, my gorgeous colleagues, my incredible family and everyone who surrounds me with such positive energy and light.
I genuinely love what I do. It is such a rewarding career - boosting confidence to everyone who takes the time to come to me, being present for the happiest days of people’s lives and preparing them for moments they’ll remember forever. It’s uplifting, meaningful work and I never take it for granted. I cherish what I do every single day. And 20 years on, I have never grown even the tiniest bit tired of it.
To my future brides of 2026 and the years ahead, I cannot wait to meet you and be part of your special day. To all of my past brides, thank you for trusting me. It is nothing short of an honour to have been part of your journey.
